How to configure proxy using Octo Browser

What is Octo Browser for?

With Octo Browser, you can create multiple instances or profiles on your device, each with its own browser footprint. This means that you can run multiple instances on one device at the same time, limited only by the resources available on your computer.

Each instance has its own unique browser fingerprint, which means it appears as a separate browser on websites and online services. This allows you to have multiple viewing sessions simultaneously on the same device, each with its own settings and identity.

Proxy server settings

To set up Stableproxy in Octo Browser, just follow these simple steps:

1. Download and install Octo Browser. Create an account and log in to get started.
   In Octo Browser, proxy settings are managed separately from browser profiles. This makes it easy to add and remove multiple proxies and assign them to different profiles.
2. Go to the "Proxies" section and click "Add Proxy" to enter your proxy configuration details.
   
3. Fill in the proxy settings based on the data in your control panel
   
   
   Important: Don't forget to enable the "Test proxy" option to make sure the proxy is working properly. And then click "Confirm".
4. Enter Stableproxy proxy user credentials. Make sure you use the same credentials you used when creating the new proxy user in the Stableproxy dashboard.
   Feel free to add multiple proxies and associate them with different profiles if needed.
   
5. Visit the Profiles section and click Create Profile to create a new profile.
   Personalize your profile by configuring various settings such as user agents, cookies, and hardware/software settings.
   
   
6. After you have configured your profile, you can assign it a pre-configured proxy server. You can select the Proxy section in your profile or go to the Connections tab while editing your profile
   
   Your profile has been successfully configured and assigned a proxy.
7. Finally, click the ▶Start button to open a new instance of the Chromium browser.
